NCAA Baseball Regional -- where will we go?

    one, thats a big if. and two, even if we do, the host sites are decided before the final game is over so that will work against us.

    imo, if things like record and rpi are all that are looked at, we do not deserve to host.

    however, if "cha ching" is the consideration, then the committee will give us serious consideration. i just looked it up and our average home game attendence this year is 10,655.

    I was under the impression that the host sites would be announced this morning at 11:00. If that were the case, our chance of hosting would be hampered. I was just reading on ncaa.com that they will be announced at approximately 3:30pm today (ncaa.com/CWS). This would give us time to at least get most of the game in today. If we make a good showing, who knows? I am sure LSU is doing all they can as far financial guarantees and such. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

    LSU played 38 home games this year.
    all 38 are among the top 42 paid attendance games in the entire country this year.
