NCAA Baseball Regional -- where will we go?

Any thoughts on where the NCAA may send us if we do not get chosen to host a baseball regional this year? Texas? TCU? anywhere else?

 

I believe that there is a good shot that we will be going to the Miami regional as a 2 or 3 seed.

 

If it's about money, then the BOX will see some action. (I hope!)

 

from everything i have read, tcu is a dark horse now for a host. but if they do, an espn blog has us a three seed there.

where ever we go, i see us as a three seed. i think even if we win the sect, we had such a rough stretch and lost so many games, i dont know if the selection committee can get past that to give us a two seed. but 2 or 3 really doesnt matter, imo.

the only way we can host is as a two seed.

 

I actually think that it would take us to win the SEC T in order to host a regional. As you point out, I don't think the selection committee will be able to get past our last month of the regular season, and it would take an SEC T win in order to get us the regional.

 

i agree. and even then, i think it would be a regional with the host as a 2 seed. even if we win the sect, i dont think the comnmittee could look past the meltdown enough to give us a 1 seed. or to be honest, i wouldnt if i were on the committee. two seeds do host now and then, so it is possible. but not probable.

edit to add: but i would love to see that happen, if just to see the massive pantie wadding from about an hour down river. :hihi:

 

If we win the SEC Tourney it will be hard for the committee to pass up a few sure sell outs at the Box. That said I agree we would be a two seed.

 

Let's just win the SEC tournament...and speculate later.

all the taking for granted that was being done early on was definitely bad mojo.

 

TCU will host a regional, its a lock.
