according to the latest boyds world pseudo-rpi (from this morning), lsu is 11th in rpi. surprisingly, rice, who went 0-2 in the c-usa tourney is still at number 5, where they were before the tournament began. it will be interesting to see what they are tomorrow.

I think we have a super also. How can they deny the hottest team in the country by far!

Any guesses for the Super Regionals?

I don't see the following selected for the SRs:

    Coastal Carolina
    Long Beach State
    Michigan
    North Carolina State
    Stanford

I don't see the following being bypassed (semi-locks):

    North Carolina
    Miami
    Florida State
    Arizona State

That would leave seven teams hoping for the remaining four:

    Rice
    Oklahoma State
    Nebraska
    Cal State Fullerton
    Georgia
    Texas A&M
    LSU

I think we're in the top four but don't trust the NCAA. I don't think any of the three from California should be selected but the NCAA may give them one anyway. If they use the "regional" approach, they must try to justify more than just ASU out west.

I think we jumped Georgia. Hopefully we jumped Rice and Cal State Fullerton as well.

Good analysis. With the amount of loses (and recent ones) some of these teams have accumulated, I think we're in. The only negative is that we've lost some of our traditional clout to get a super.
