As for Ohio St., after playing that awesome Big 10 schedule, and of course that awesome out of conference schedule that consisted of the Ohio Trifecta (Youngstown St., Akron & Kent St.) I can't wait for the Ohio morons to start bragging on their Nat'l Champs. They played 1 semi-decent team this year and got whupped. Buckeyes would have at least 4 losses playing in the SEC. They're exactly the kind of Champions the BCS system deserves.

You're probaby right about the NC game. However, (and I hate being so dang gloomy) but I wouldn't be at all surprised if KU beats the Vols, and if that happens, the Tigers defense better get healthy because Georgia is a LOAD right now.
i agree. i feel a weight lifted off my shoulders. once the team mentally get over the loss, they will feel like a whole new team. that weekly pressure is too much for many people - team members and fans. in some ways it pulls all the fun right out of football. i'm broken hearted that they lost to arky, but i'm glad the pressure is gone.
Sounds like not one of you have any respect for OSU. Well now you got your shot at them. I'm not going to guarantee an OSU win but I don't think we will be a pushover either. Right now you guys are being nice because you got what you wanted but this thread about sums up how each LSU fan and hopefully the team feels about OSU's chances against the Tigers. I've heard so many LSU fans reference their 48-7 win over VT and last years NC game as to why LSU is just going to stomp us in the dirt. BTW what does the VT game have to do with OSU? You played an emotionally drained team at the start of the season. Plus VT is nowhere near as good as OSU(well maybe on special teams). VT is an inferior team to OSU and I still think if you played VT now they wouldn't be beat by 41. Hope the team is overlooking the Bucks like you guys seem to be, we did that with UF last year and look where it got us.
Most LSU fans believe that the reason we beat VT so badly is because it was early in the season while we were healthy. We've dealt with many injuries since then. LSU fans also have a false sense of security because our last 2 bowls have been such blowouts. "Look at what happens when you give Miles a month to prepare" is often heard around these parts. I agree that Ohio St is a much better team than VT & that we wouldn't beat VT by 41 if we were to play right now. Ohio St is a good team, and I think our team understands that.
