Sorry Red, I already predicted the meteor hitting about a year ago: SEE THIS THREAD: http://www.tigerforums.com/tigers-den/90389-ok-i-will-say-2.html#post990854
this has nothing to do with NC game, but on the usl boards, they open up with UGA and the excitement in cajun land is super high! they are bringing a total of 490 fans to the game!!! Apparently y'all are only bringing 490 fans to Athens...Y'all have fun... | UGA sports blog y-isnt-georgias-home-opener-sold-out/ Generally, opponents can return unsold tickets from their allotments as late as three weeks before a game. Louisiana-Lafayette’s contract called for the school to receive an allotment of 4,500 tickets, but the Ragin’ Cajuns wound up selling far fewer than that. According to Thomas, Louisiana-Lafayette took only 2,095 of its allotted tickets initially, leaving Georgia with the other 2,405 to sell. Then Louisiana-Lafayette returned an additional 1,605 tickets prior to the three-week window allowed in the contract. In all, Louisiana-Lafayette is using 490 of its allotted 4,500 tickets, Thomas said. another fun thread there. Posted: 7/13/2010 7:41 AM Re: Hear Ye, Hear Ye Ragin Cajuns of Lafayette 'Only LSU and Ole Miss is UGAs equal in tailgating'? So you're telling us to be prepared for a letdown in the quality of tailgating that we are used to at Cajun Field? Ole Miss tailgaters are snobs and lsu tailgaters are obnoxious. Does that mean UGA tailgaters are obnoxious snobs? Or do you really think tailgating is great at those two places? they actually think they tailgate there! I went to a game there several years ago for homecoming. We got there at 10:30 and were almost the first ones there. HC is at 4 or 5. Attn USL Fans. Just because you put up a tent doesn't mean you're tailgating. That goes for the "grove" as well.
Speaking of trends..........How about the trend of people being very negative before the first game of the season against a ranked team. That is very "trendy" around here.
