I will miss game 3, I am going to drive up Saturday for game 4, which is on May 10th. I will be staying thru Sunday.
No doubt! Which league do you believe affords the most opportunities for "star players" to operate in? I think the NBA does over the NFL and MLB. QBs get special attention in the NFL and top pitchers have expanded strike zones but I still believe the NBA lets them get away with more.
You are correct sir in your assessment. The NBA is notorious for this. They just started calling traveling and carrying the ball again. They threw the zone in the league for the stars who cant guard anybody and so the scoring can increase. Which hasnt worked out to well, im not against using zone defense, but the run and gun teams havent won too many championships in the past 4 years. Defensive teams have done that.
I agree that some players get "MVP calls" but Kobe did a good job of getting to the basket and getting fouls called. I did not see any off the wall calls given to him yesterday. However, the were leading throughout the game so I assume that could have been different.
Dangit, dangit, dangit!!! That's alright guys come home we will cheer you to victory! I really hate the pistons! But remember my fellow magic third time is the charm!
Lebron James 2 of 18, with 10 turnovers, 2 layups missed in the final minute. Thats not rising to the occasion, the Celtics werent any better. Allen, put up the goose egg and Pierce was 2 for 11.
Any idea what the Vegas odds now list as favorites for the Finals and which will be the Champion? So far, you could easily argue that the Hornes have played the best in post-season. I'm sure they were considered a long shot when the playoffs started. With Boston looking average; the Spurs on the ropes; the Suns eliminated; and LeBron looking mortal...I'm thinking they probably list the Lakers and Pistons as best odds with the Celtics and Hornets right behind. I sure would've liked to have placed some money on the Hornets to win it all before the season started. That would be a nice payout!
I think if you get a Hornets vs Pistons or Lakers vs Pistons, that would have high odds. Boston is still in the mix, cant count them out.
