I found the game on TV during the 3rd, and kept in on in the background. From the small part of the game I watched, Kobe was a clear step up from all the other stars on the court, and made most of the amazing plays that I happened to see in the game. Interestingly, the announcers didn't seem that surprised or excited about it. I also saw Pierce getting injured and having to go to the locker-room, the sideline microphone letting us hear what the coach was telling the team to keep their hopes up, and then Pierce's return to the court, which got the announcers all excited, one of them even later compared it to Muhammed Ali entering the ring. It was also interesting that two of the announcers seemed like they have a person problem with each other -- some of their comments toward each other got pretty icy, which was somewhat awkward to witness. But I was hoping for a close finish, and it didn't happen... but that was only game 1, right?
