    I think this round of the playoffs shows that the best of 7 series format isn't necessarily the best. I've heard arguments that with 7 games, the best team will win every time, because there are no flukes.

    So far, the Pistons are the only team to have won on the road in the 2nd round.

    So, why not do a best of 3, or go back to single elimination? (I know, I know.... $$$$$$$$$$$$$)

    I think this year is sort of a fluke and I could be wrong but I think I heard last night that at this time last year the road team had won 13 games.

    When you have even teams like we do this year the home team is almost always going to win, even though it seems like it would be the opposite.


    edit: 13-10 and 16-10 last two years.

    6 games played in the spurs/hornets series and not one game decided by single digits.
