I know he's the Coach of the year but Scott has yet to make a defensive adjustment yet. The way they are playing Man Defense isnt cutting it at all maybe some form of zone would be better. Even Spurs Coach Pop plays a zone defense when needed and has played it against the Hornets.
They need to come over the top on screens and hedge longer so the Spurs cant get the ball in the corner. They are basically doing what the Hornets do to most people.
Can someone please tell me why Birdman isnt activated but Bowen is? I see him work out before games and hits shots and looks good.
damn, i forgot about birdman. funny how he used to be the best player. when did his drug suspension end?
when was he the best player? i missed that. his drug suspension ended about 5 weeks before the playoffs started.
about 3 years ago. about the same time the big cat was an "impressive" player. he didnt have the most talent but was the most productive for a while. davis wasnt really around and they sucked.
I am pretty sure he played a few games this season and now for some reason he is not dressed out. Maybe they needed to activate someone else and decided to have him sit out the playoffs.
the year he averaged 5 points per game in 2004 or the year he averaged 7 points per game in 2005? those were his two best years as a pro. http://www.nba.com/playerfile/chris_andersen/career_stats.html
i remember those averages vividly, as do the other 800 fans that were at the games with me. but he brought more energy night in and night out than any player after davis left. since you like looking up stats feel free to find me a better player. that team was TERRIBLE. half of them are analysts on tv now. wow, this looks this roster looks worse than i previously thought. edit: forgot about wesley, guess he was better...either way kansas would have beaten them this year.
