Billups got hurt, even with Billups out Pistons cut it to 3 at the end of the third. I wasnt impressed with the Magic at all tonight. They hit some big shots, so I give them credit for that. Pistons in 5.

Game 2 was close as well until the bogus 3-point shot taken a hour after the clock should have expired. :hihi:

    Damn home cookin'

I think it will be the Pistons as well...but maybe in six. (I hope it goes seven.) The series in the East have been more competitve thus far. Unless the Jazz and Spurs get moving, the Hornets and Lakers may have to sit around for awhile waiting for the East to wrap it up.

Take that 3 away, we still win the game. Orlando, just doesnt have it, they are soft. Billups will play limited minutes in game 4, Pistons will win it.
The thing about the clock is that the guy is from Minnesota, they rotate clock operators, not to say they cant be biased.

I can't agree with this. In watching the game last night, it took everything for Utah to just make the game respectable. This is not a good matchup for Utah, the Lakers are too athletic for them. I didn't realize Utah was that slow defensively.

I think the Lakers will take 1 of 2 in Utah and win this thing in 5.

You forgot the first quarter too. They handicapped Orlando 20 points to start.

Yep, that was the killer, the first quarter, they got outscored in the first and 4th quarter.
But hey thats Detroit, they get too comfortable with leads in series.
But they will be fine or go home.

Jazz are keeping it respectable each game playing from behind and only shooting around 35% compared to close to 60% for the Lakers. Utah has shown they will dominate the paint and get open shots but have not been able to make the open shots away. This is a normal pattern for the Jazz, they will almost always keep it close and play their best ball in the 2nd half no matter who they play. Jazz have also shown me they have the ability to take one from the Lakers at their place if they win on thier home court.

IMO the refs are calling decent games but are limiting the aggressiveness of the Jazz and letting the Lakers play. Which is what is expected playing at the Lakers home floor.

I didnt mean they were similar, but their strengths are pretty close to being evened out. If the Jazz do not miss that many jumpshots then the Lakers cant get out and run, and they wouldnt have shot as many free throws or hit as many threes.

Utah has a great front court and wilkl play better, and I suspect they will have a big game tomorrow night.
