This is indeed a sad damned story. By all accounts, Griffin had some personal demons to deal with and struggled to get past them. Regardless of his stature as a pro athlete, it's sad to see a talented young man get consumed by such things.
I agree that this is a sad end to what was once a promising future . However,this guy was pretty messed up.He took a shot at a woman because she came to his house and caught him with another woman.He was watching a porn video in his car while driving and spanking the monkey at the same time ,and hit a car.And his final act was to crash through a railroad crossing barrier and slam into a train. We should be thankful he didn't take some innocent victim with him.
