Cleveland and Phoenix Shaq(last year of contract, paid 21.7 million) for Ben Wallace (14 million, last year of his contract) Pavlovic(4.5 million only 1.7 guaranteed) 46th Draft Pick and 500k in cash Question-Why would Phoenix trade expiring contracts, when Shaq makes more money than both of these players which would have free up more money on the Suns cap? Rumored that Houston is trading T-Mac, Carl Landry, and Aaron Brooks to Phoenix for Amare Stoudamire and Leandro Barbosa Rumored that Golden State will trade Crawford to the Hawks for Acie Law and some other clown.
Vince Carter and Ryan Anderson to Orlando for Skip, Tony Battie and Courtney Lee is a proposed trade as well. Lakers sold their pick to the Knicks for 3 Mil
Not getting why Hornets selected a back up guard instead of picking a position of immediate need..they could've selected SGs Wayne Ellington,Marcus Thorton, Tony Douglas, PF Dejuan Blair or the SF from Pittsburgh
NO actually did get the rights to Thornton. What the hell is wrong with Orlando (Vince Carter) Seriously? Alot of dumb trades yesterday. Indiana taking Hansborough at 13# really at 13 with all of the talent left on the board. Oh well, maybe he will work out there. Who knows. Im willing to give the kid a chance.
I wouldnt have dealt Lee but I guess they are looking to win now. This at least gives Orlando a guy that create his own shot. Ill say it was a win in the sort run. Rumors about them possible getting Sheed. I can easily predict a negative response from NBA fans but I think it would be a good move. Another scoring option in the post would be great. Probably just the result of a weak draft. Not to much value after the top 10 and at least they know what they are getting with a four year college player -- no need to take a project there. They did have four trade offers for him...but drafting in the teens during this draft was probably disappointing for most teams.
The Rockets will be without Yao for a year or more, the obligation to the Chinese national team is breaking his body down. Should they rebuild now or wait till McGrady becomes a free agent next year.
and he was...kinda funny Bill L. Quit his Detroit Shock job dont know if Joe will interview him. Gotta think Avery will be first option. Waiting to see what moves the Hornets will make this offseason.....they could add Brandon Bass or they could make it a LSU Team and add Bass,Glen and Stromile lol but seriously I would like for them to at least look at Bass,Jeremy Richardson, The Collins Twins,Gerald Green,Jerome James,Chris Wilcox and Channing Frye. Really isn't any exciting name but a player like Bass could improve the team.
Didn't want to start a new thread but I remember a few saying Boozer would be gone to Detroit but the Jazz have him for another year. Korver and Okur will also return. Now we need to resign Millsap.
