I can't stand LB James......but my gut tells me the Heat. I'm not a big NBA fan, but I have gotten into it lately......

What does Vegas say (for the series)? I've mostly been hearing predictions of OKC in 6 or 7 games so assuming they are slightly favored. That sounds about right based on home court advantage and the PG matchup heavily in favor of OKC. Westbrook has been criticized in the past but everything I've seen from him in the playoffs has been elite.

This may be the first time that the Lebron-led Heat are in an underdog or pickem type situation. I think they'll need Lebron to carry over his dominant play to the finals (which he didn't do last year) along with Wade and Bosh upping their play to win the series.

I'll go with OKC winning the first two, getting one (out of 3) in Miami, and then winning game 6 at home to wrap it up.

I read this morning it's the Thunder -5 for tonight with the over under at 195.5.....over/under seems kinda high for a playoff game, I'm thinking I might bet the under.....any thoughts?

I see what you are saying about the under, but you have to realize that these are 2 high powered offenses when they want to be with 3 of the best scorers in the NBA on the floor (LBJ, Wade, Durant). They will be playing "small ball" with their small lineups in pretty much the entire game.

That being said, I still kinda like the under. :D

I'm thinking it's the playoffs and defense will be turned up a notch or two, that's what I'm hearing anyways......I'm gonna take the under, love having a "reason" to watch a game.

it's the first time the MVP and scoring champ have met in the finals since 1997, when Michael Jordan's Bulls knocked off MVP Karl Malone and Utah (plus Hall of Fame PG John Stockton and 1-time All-Star SG Jeff Hornacek)

And there you have it. If everyone is humping the leg of the under, the over is usually a sure winner.

Heat suck. Refs were blowing calls left and right. Two fouls on Collison, both bullshit. Lebitch travels big time, nada. I could go on and on. Thunder had to TAKE this game.
