That's interesting. Always had length but never thought he had "it" and would get drafted. But saw that he averaged 14 pts, 8 rbs, and 2 blocks. Good for him.

And about Brackins, he seems like a legit scorer and hopefully will help take some of the load off of West. He averaged 20 points a game 2 years ago and they said he scored 42 points against Kansas, which is very impressive as a PF. Seems to be pretty athletic too...we'll see how it goes but I like him so far.

That doesnt make sense, pick a guy who will help you win a championship, not a Jazz or a Rocket guy.

A deal with the Thunder. I liked Aldrich a lot better the first time he was drafted when his name was Nick Collison. Babbett would have been a better pick here IMO.

    Makes complete sense...

Name one guy in the draft this year that would pretty much guarantee a championship. The answer is none and that is usually the case when it comes to the NBA draft.

Best way to do it is to bring in a guy who matches your scheme and not banking your whole roster on the addition of one guy who may never develop and likely end up on someone else's roster 2 or 3 years down the road.

Get the guy who can come in a contribute right away without skipping a beat and not the guy requiring risk and realignment of your roster to be successful.

THe Jazz and Rockets both got safe bets on guys who can help win a championship right now and not have to wait until he develops and jumps on another team.

lol actually you didnt make sense, those teams seem complacent to me, with just making the playoffs every year, instead of doing whats necessary to make it to the next level. Drastic measures are needed to win championships or make it to the finals in the Western conference. They continue to stand pat.

    LOL

Newsflash, drastic measures or not made during the draft. Maybe to make cap room to wheel and deal in free agency but that is about it. Name one player in this year's draft that would match what you are looking for.

The Mavs make me scratch my head when the draft rolls around. I hope they score someone in FA. Come on Chris Bosh, COME HOME!!!!
