John Wall goes #1 to WAS as expected.

DeMarcus Cousins goes 5th to SAC

Detroit picks up someone LSU fans were hoping for, Greg Monroe, at #7

Really like the Utah pick at #9 with Gordon Hayward from Butler.

Pacers up with the 10th pick.

Also, Hornets have turned down multiple offers for Paul this week and say they are keeping him for now.

The Jazz took a "Jazz" guy.

The Rockets took a "Rockets" guy.

Not bashing the front offices of the other teams, but in terms of pure drafting and scouting, our teams have it pretty well figured out. ;)

Not many guys on either side were signed via free agency. Most are home grown or home developed.

Hornets gave up the rights for Aldrich and they got PF Craig Brackins out of Iowa St.

Very true and I think Patrick Patterson will be a very good one. How much weight do you think they ask him to put on? Seems like he has room to grow and not lose much athleticism.

    He is about 6'9, 225.

I'd like him about 6'9 245-250. He gets to that weight, I think he'd be a load.

He needs to work on his jumper, though, because he's definitely not good enough in the post to use it as his crutch.

What they liked is he showed he could fit in and have an impact both as a No. 1 and No. 3 option. Not many college kids can do that.

Love, love, love the Heat getting the big kid from Miss. St.

He could be their starting center right now.

Another LSU prospect LSU was targeting went in the 2nd round: Keith 'Tiny' Gallon to Bucks.

Also noticed that International players straight from overseas are not as hot as the have been recently.

Magnum Rolle off the board. People who forgot about him probably don't know he became a solid player out at La Tech.
