Ok, help the ignorant girl with the offseason...does everybody get into the lottery? And if not where do the rest of the field go?

The teams that did not make the playoffs are entered into the lottery which is organized just like a state lottery, with ping-pong balls. The amount of balls in there are determined by your record, thus decreasing/increasing a teams chance of getting a certain pick.

After that concludes the remaining teams are ordered by how they finish the season.

The Bulls had a 1.7% chance of winning the lottery this year.....now that's just odd luck.

I'd say that's some pretty good luck!

If I was the GM for the Bulls, I'd be talkin to Derrick Rose tomorrow morning.

Me to. No reason for them to take Beasley.

The Bulls can get Rose, but more importantly move some players.

They have been trying to ship Deng, Gordon, and Duhon for a while. Chicago has little interest in these guys but they will be a hot commodity for lots of other teams.

They can ship those guys, trim down their abundance of guards, acquire a couple of legit big men, one of whom is a scorer to compliment Gooden and Thomas...or even a combo guard and get a free agent like Antawn Jamison.

Unless you already have a legit PG I will never see why someone would draft a scorer like Beasley that doesnt provide a large defensive presence. There are a lot of l talented PF's floating around the league.

Very few PF's have ever carried a team on their back and I dont see Beasley as being the next to do it.

If the Bulls get Rose, Kirk Hinrich can pack his shyt up, he is garbage. If I was the Bulls I would trade Deng and Gordon, or Gordon and Thomas to Miami for Wade, he is from Chicago.

    Rose
    Wade
    Deng

    is a good backcourt.

Enormous understatement. The guy has that Euro flair and then before you know it all hell breaks loose when he shoots. He finishes like a woman -- also known as it takes six tries from under the rim. Rebounds like a European and gets abused by anyone athletic. As you can tell I think he is great.

    Steal of the draft
