In the East, I don't know what to expect tonight in South Beach. Will Bosh play? Will Lebron and Wade dominate like they have at times in the playoffs? Or will Rondo solidify his new stature as a top 10 player? I'll say that the Celtics follow the Thunder's lead and steal one on the road to go up 3-2. The Big 3 Hall of Famers have shown they have some life left in those legs. Bass needs to step up with another solid game and Rondo do what he do. The West finals have been just as intense and exciting. Only a week ago, the Spurs appeared to be the best "team" in the history of the NBA. Now they are fighting for their playoff lives. The Thunder played like champs last night on the road even though the Spurs did the same. While none of the remaining four is necessarily my "favorite" team, every night lately has been must-see for me. The big personalities, the dynamic athleticism, fairly good commentators, and two series that I still feel can go either way (although Thunder now clearly have an edge).
Will be a lot better than the Championship finals. Whoever comes out of the west (Thunder) just might sweep either team from the east.
I would love for the Thunder to thrash the Heat....although I hate the Heat so much, I hope they don't make it to the Finals.
Best team in NBA history huh? You must not have watched much basketball over the years. Oh and fuck Lebron James.
Best team in NBA history wasn't really my opinion but something I heard mentioned at least twice (about a week ago) when the Spurs were on a 20 game winning streak, including 10 straight in the playoffs. Technically, one of the opinions was using the word "team" to represent the style of play rather than the debate whether they stack up with all-time great teams. I'm not a Spurs fan although do have a lot of respect for their longevity and consistent play at a high level. Winning at OKC will be tough but I wouldn't count them out.
Regarding Lebron, I think some of the criticism is over the top although much of it is valid. I'm pulling for the Celtics but would say I enjoy watching Lebron play more than anyone else in the NBA (although I may not like him as much personally). The way he played in that must-win game against the Pacers was something to watch. Controlled the tempo, got everyone involved and helped break Wade out of his spell, yet still got his 40 with 18 boards by playing a bit of PG, SF, and PF all into one. Sometimes I feel that I'm in the minority in that I can appreciate athletic dominance yet still not necessarily like the guy.
They ran them out of the gym when they played in OKC a while back and should have beat them on their home floor but at least kept it close. No worries bruh, bron bron and his talent can't handle the Thunder or the Spurs. 5 games at best mark it down.
I love it. I love the Thunder. I love watching them play. I don't dislike anyone on their entire roster. Thunder Up!
Collison is a beast. Cat can straight up ball. All heart and determination. Love Perk but maybe the most inept 7 footer with the ball near the basket. Like a monkey fucking a football.
I think sometimes Westbrook is a little too fast for his own good. Bad finishes at the rim, offensive fouls, etc. Fisher is the veteran leadership they so desperately needed. Not necessarily on the court, but behind the scenes, in practices, and in the locker room. I'm tired of Miami, I'm tired of Lebron James. I'm a Lebron hater, and I hope the assclown never wins a title, no matter where the bitch runs to.
