Since this series starts tonight, I was curious to see what you guys think. If anyone still cares about the NBA, and I am not sure if I even qualify for that group!

I think the Spurs will take the series. Too many mismatch problems for the Cavs. Lebron will get his points but I am worried about the role players around him. Going to be hard to keep Tony Parker out of the lane and stop the 3, oh and who is going to stop Duncan. I will be pulling for the Cavs.

I'm no basketball expert, but I picked the Spurs. They've proven to be money in the big series.

That said, I'm pulling for Cleveland. They never won it. The world would be more interesting if they had a trophy. And, I like LeBron. He seems like a stable star with his head screwed on straight, which I think is quite hard for a guy his age, with all the money he's come into. Jordan ultimately became quite conceited, and LeBron certainly has not, yet.

    san antonio sweeps...

    cleveland MAYBE wins one.

Cleveland just isn't that good. They beat Washington in 4 without Arenas, they beat the softest team in NBA history, the Nets, then they beat the Pistons, which was pretty impressive, but like I said here a week or so ago, if San Antonio can stop all 5 Phoenix Suns, then I'm sure they could stop 1 Lebron.

If Game 1 was in Cleveland, Cleveland would have won. How many calls did Lebron get? I hate Steve Javy. He plays to the home crowd.

i hate how every time cleveland loses, it's because of the officials.

Lebron shot so many fadeaway, off-balance, bad shots that he didn't deserve the calls.

gibson is their savior. he needs to score or else it will be over quick.

I meant to click on San Antonio sweep. They're a consummately better team than Cleveland, better coached, and more experienced. Only the Power of Lebron can get the Cavs MAYBE one win. I just don't see how it could play out any differently.

It's sometimes easy to forget about the disparity in talent in the East, and this series should point that out pretty clearly.

And no, I'm not a Spurs fan -- by any stretch. Gotta admire the way they go about their work (other than the whining like school girls part -- that's what happens when you Euro Soccer your roster though.)
