I know its just the season opener, but the Pels put a serious whipping on the Rockets on the road last night. 19-point margin of victory, but the Pels never trailed, and I don't think the lead was ever under double-digits after the 1st quarter. AD had 32 and was 2 assists short of a triple double. Mirotic had 30, and Randle about 24. The only negative was they used an 8-man rotation most of the night. Depth is always a problem with this team. Didn't notice this before, but Elfrid Peyton had a triple double in his debut...10 pt, 10 reb. 10 ast
Yeah, my son watched it through halftime. Said we basically dominated. Especially a road win against the Rockets. Impressive start. Hopefully can sustain it.
I missed the game because I was watching the Astros. Will catch tonight's game vs the Sacramento Queens.
Pels 149, Sac 129. Highest score in franchise history! Mirotic had a career-high 36, and 8 players hit double figures.
I noticed that the Pels as well as a couple of other teams have 16 players on their roster. I thought there was a 12 player limit unless the rules have been changed,
Pels improve to 4-0 tonight; only undefeated team in the West. Meanwhile, in Frisco, DeMarcus Cousins got a technical foul and was ejected......from the bench.....he's not even dressed out yet.
Good to see the Pels off to a good start. After tomorrow night's game vs the Jazz they go on a long western road trip.
