O-5, Commander. I spent six years, at sea, in the surface navy, then transferred to Naval Intelligence. Once I did that, I spent six years "searching for Red October" then, foolishly, got some additional education and spent my last eight years in the murky and somewhat hidden world of Intel resources (money and people).
I spent all of my Air Force active duty/contractor career in Logistics. Retired as an E-8. Spent the last 17 years working on the Air Force's Satellite Control Network contract. Very rewarding. If you have GPS in your vehicle you couldn't get there without us.
Looks like Crowder has kept himself in good shape. Did y'all work out together? On another note I wish I could be around in a couple of hundred years to hear what the excuses are when 2 starships collide in deep space.
Not always. My beloved nephew who means the world to me and who graduated from college a year ago with an engineering degree put in his application to the Navy to be a pilot. He was accepted and in about 3 weeks he leaves for Officer Candidate School in Rhode Island. It's quite a jumble of feelings. I am at once both terribly proud and incredibly terrified.
Would it matter if I told you his family nickname? I'll manage my "stuff" but it isn't easy as I'm sure you know. I appreciate you.
