Tusk, just in case you didn't see my other post, congrats on the SECCG win and best of luck in the MNC. And no I am not pulling for Bama, just wishing you good luck and giving you your props. You're a good guy and you deserve to be given at least that much respect.:thumb:
Yes, thanks Legacy. I understand, I don't expect you to break character, But its evident, your threshold of tolerance is growing. Did you notice? One minute a lot of the tiger faithful are offering props, and the next, the thread did a disappearing act. I hate that, I hope the mods didn't misinterpet my modest intentions.
No I did not, but I don't think the mods would mess with you. And don't misinterpret my props to you as a sign of any level of respect for the Tide. It is just giving respect to a fellow poster who shows respect in someone elses home.
I would really like for Bama to lose; in fact, one of my UT alum fans saw me in the hall this morning and asked if I wanted a burnt orange t-shirt with a white Hook 'em Horns or a white with a burnt orange. I promptly told her they'd better bring their A++++ game after what I witnessed on Saturday--on the part of both teams. Of course, Mack Brown has already made Saban look foolish once this decade. Perhaps lightning will stick twice.
i posted this in another thread but, how crappy was it for Tiger fans this past weekend to see their ex coach Nick Saban playing for the marbles in the SEC, with a chance to play for all the marbles on the line. And in the Big 12, ex LSU assistant Mac Brown, with ex LSU defensive coordinator Will Muschamp, going against ex LSU defensive coordinator Bo Pelini for the big 12 championship, with a chance to play for all the marbles on the line for Texas. It was a hard weekend to watch college football for me.
Actually, I looked at it as a compliment to the program. LSU produces great coaches. All of the coaches that were being showcast had ties to LSU.
If they don't, there should be an investigation.Your talent level is off the charts. Do you think someone should tell the dough man, Bama is not losing half their team to graduation. I really think Bama can make a run at this thing next year.
I would agree with you if I didn't think that not only will LSU be back, but OM, Ark, and the Barners will all be tougher. Next yr the SECw is going to be an even tougher territory to get thru.
Cody leaves, but i have always thought he was a little over rated. McClain probably going to leave, which to me, will be the biggest loss, i have never seen a linebacker do what he does on the field pre snap, he is a bad ass. Arenas will be gone, that will hurt a little, but he is replaceable. Who else is leaving?
