Now that the National Championship game has been played (Alabama vs. Fl), I'm really looking forward to our chances next year. No more Teblow to worry about and Alabama is losing alot of their starters.

Am I the only one that thinks the SEC title game should be renamed the Nat'l Championship game? I mean,,,what's the point of Alabama playing Texas? We all know what the result will be. I just wish Vegas wasn't aware of beatdown that Texas is gonna get, I could make a few bucks.

lol im going to check the spread out and see what Vegas thinks. Texas barely pulled off the win over Nebraska. Alabama is going to shut them out and it will put a rest to these UT fans here in Texas.

I wouldn't be so quick to count Texas out. I seem to remember similar things being said about a Florida team in '06 after several ugly wins. Bama was lucky to get by several mediocre teams this year. Texas isn't mediocre. Also, a hallmark of Saban's defense is the occasional burn on a long pass...and Colt McCoy is a hella'f a passer.

Let's just let the game get played. I also remember people thinking Florida was a shoe-in over Michgan in '07 and Bama was the same against Utah last year.

One reason that this game is so much fun to watch (when it's not your team on the line) is because it's sometimes a tad unpredictable. Otherwise, the scores in pick 'em would be a LOT better, lol.

It's gonna be great seeing Texas lose in a national championship game again. As if once in a year wasn't great enough...

What other NCG did they lose? I don't believe they have.

Wow, just looked at your 2010 schedule, that is interesting.

North Carolina, West Virginia, Tennessee, Vandy, plus the normal cast of characters. Even with your home dates in your favor for the most part, LSU is going to have to click from the get go.

It is the SEC grind, big time.

All we care about is SEC titles Tusk, so WV and North Carolina are meaningless when it comes to that goal. We add your yearly rival, you add ours, although i think Tennessee will have improved while Florida will have to reload. Going to be another interesting year in the SEC that is for sure. The West just keeps getting better.

I saw the Alabama play Florida and Texas play Nebraska and I'm thinking Alabama will beat Texas pretty easily, but then I remembered I also saw Alabama play Auburn, Tennessee and LSU. I wouldn't give the gumps the NC just yet.
