I am still looking for the bottles, but I found some National Championship coke cans here in Mississippi. I actually didn't find them by myself, the coke guys that was in the store found them for me. They told me they didn't know when or if the bottles were gonna be made. The only bad thing is it doesn't say anything on the outside of the box. You hafta punch the little thing out and then turn the coke can around with your fingers to see if it is one of the National Championship coke cans. I got mine at Wal-Mart in Columbia, Mississippi. I have bought the bottles here before so I am really hoping that I will get the new ones. :geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux:
I live in Central and I just picked up a couple fridge packs from Oak Point Grocery, and they indeed have the championship logo on the cans. :thumb:
Please tell me you didn't make some poor stock boy punch holes and turn all those boxes in the back. :hihi:
Nope, the stock boys didn't do that, the Coke guys did:lol:. And I didn't ask them either, they volenteered to do that. But had they not volenteered, I probably woulda asked them.
As far as the boxes go, they are made by different companies and transported to a Coca-Cola bottling/canning facility to be packaged. I'm sure Coca-Cola could ask that the cartons be made differently, but that may be a contract issue. Example- Anheuser-Busch makes the beer, but the cardboard 12-pack or 24-pack carton is made at Graphic Packaging, Int'l in West Monroe, LA and then transported by 18-wheeler to a specific A-B facility to be packaged and distributed. My educated guess is, it takes 5 trucks to get a single 6-pack of beer to your nearest convenient store. Just sharing some information. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
And the beer still costs less than 1 dollar for the consumer per can. What a great product:wave::wave::wave::wave::wave:
