    The College Baseball Foundation and Diamond Sports are proud to announce this week’s National All-Star Lineup. This week the line is dominated by pitching performances. Also making the lineup this week is Rich Poythress of the #1 ranked Bulldogs with 5 home runs last week. See the full National All-Star Lineup below:

      [​IMG] Drew Mahaffey - The Citadel
      Mahaffey made three appearances last week in victories over Air Force. The sophomore left-handed reliever pitched 3.2 innings and recorded three saves. He held the Falcons scoreless, did not issue a walk and struck out 9 of the 13 batters he faced. He gave up just two hits and retired 11 batters for the week.

      [​IMG] Jason Kipnis - Arizona State

      Jason Kipnis had an impressive weekend, going 7-10, with two homers, three doubles and six RBI. He slugged 1.600 in the series and also stole two bases in the Devils series win over USC.

      [​IMG] Trevor Bauer - UCLA

      Bauer picked up two wins over the week, leading the Bruins at No. 17 Pepperdine on Wednesday and against Arizona on Sunday. Bauer logged 12 strikeouts in a combined 13.1 innings (over both games), limiting the opposition to two runs and 10 hits.

      [​IMG] Luke Stewart - UAB

      Stewart posted multiple hits in all four games and multiple RBI in three contests as he helped UAB post a 3-1 record last week. He hit three home runs, including two in Friday’s series opener with Savannah State and one in Saturday’s game. Stewart collected 10 RBI over the four games last week, including a season-high four on Saturday. The senior hit .727 (8-for-11) for the week and added five walks.

      [​IMG] Nick Fleece - Texas A & M


      Fleece picked up two wins and two saves in A&M’s 4-0 week. He earned the win Tuesday against UT-Arlington, saves on Friday and Sunday against Kansas and another victory Saturday against the Jayhawks. After giving up a walk and a hit to start his outing against the Mavericks on Tuesday, he allowed just one of the final 19 batters faced to reach base. Fleece has recorded a win or save in five straight games for A&M.
      [​IMG] Rich Poythress - Georgia

      Poythress hit .615 (8 for 13) with five home runs and 12 RBI last week, and led Georgia to its second straight SEC sweep and its first series win at Tennessee since 2001. In his first nine plate appearances against the Vols, Poythress was 6-for-6 with four home runs, two doubles and three walks.

      [​IMG] Stephen Strasburg - San Diego State
      Strasburg went 8.0 innings in San Diego State\'s 11-5 win over 16th-ranked TCU last Friday. On the night, he struck out 14 batters while allowing two earned runs on three hits with one walk. He struck out the side in the third and fifth innings, and retired nine of the final 10 batters he faced on the night.

      [​IMG] Cody Wheeler - Coastal Carolina

      Wheeler recorded the first no-hitter since 2005 for Coastal Carolina during a 4-0 win over Hawaii. He struck out 10 batters and registered a 9-inning complete game with three walks.

      [​IMG] Nathan Long - UT Arlington

      Long was one strikeout away from tying the Texas-Arlington school record as he fanned 15 batters in 7 1/3 innings which led to a 7-2 win over Nicholls. Long\'s performance marked a career high and was also the most strikeouts by any pitcher in the Southland Conference this season.

      [​IMG] Justin O\'Neal - Northwestern State

      O\'Neal had a career week after going 13-for-18 (.722) in four starts. He tied career highs with four hits against the Bearkats in the second game of a Saturday doubleheader and again in the series finale on Sunday. O\'Neal also tied a career high four runs batted in on Sunday. In the weekend series, he hit 11-for-14 (.786) with six RBI and scored six runs.

      [​IMG] Jordan Kreke - Eastern Illinois

      Kreke was 11-for-18 (.611) with eight runs scored, three home runs and 10 RBI in four Panther victories. For the week, he was 6-for-6 with runners in scoring position and six of his 10 RBI came with two outs.

      [​IMG] Brian Moran - North Carolina

      In four appearances last week, Moran registered 16 strikeouts and no walks over 10 1/3 innings. He allowed just two runs for a 1.74 ERA and earned two victories.

      [​IMG] Buddy Baumann - Missouri State
      Baumann struck out a career-high 14 in a complete-game three-hitter against Oral Roberts on Sunday, improving his record to 5-0 on the year. He walked none and allowed two runs on the way to the seventh highest strikeout total in school history and most since 2007.

      [​IMG] Coach Fred Jordan - The Citadel
      The Citadel swept Air Force with a 4-1 win Sunday afternoon. The victory marked head coach Fred Jordan\'s 600th career win as he became the fastest coach to reach 600 wins in Southern Conference history, doing so in less than 18 full seasons.

      [​IMG] Coach Danny Schmitz - Bowling Green
      Coach Schmitz picked up his 500 victory for his career by defeating Michigan 8-3 on Tuesday. This is a milestone reached by only four baseball coaches in MAC history. Schmitz is 499-453-4 in his 19 seasons at the helm.
