    If you had paid attention, what I said was that the board holds less and less interest for me because it is filled with people more interesting in attacking others than having discussions. Sound like someone you know?

    I have commented on the spending often and have endorsed the stimulus spending, criticized the bailout spending and have mixed feelings on the energy and health proposals. You just hear what you want to hear, as usual.

    Let me try to explain it to you using small words. I never mentioned Pelosi, much less defended her. I was shooting down a bogus story because I have little patience with people who make up issues.

    I haven't taken you seriously for a very, very long time.

    It seems to me you did the same thing in your post here.
    You should practice what you preach.
    You made up a story that Jindal has abandoned higher education and you have no way to prove it Amigo.
    You might prove that he has cut the budget along with everything else in Louisiana as well as the country.

    You blew this whole thread out of context, unreal!
    I didn't complain, Martin asked me a question and I answered.
    I don't believe you when you say you have criticized this administration for its spending, budget, etc.
    I think this thread proves my point, you are way too touchy!

    I haven't taken you seriously either especially since man made global warming has been proven for what it is.
    You have a problem with someone asking a question and then someone else asking my opinion but you have no problem with phony stories from the left such as Dan Rather's stories, global warming hoax or your paragraph that I just quoted above.

    I'm going to start where we left off here yesterday.
    The main reason that I post stuff in this forum on government corruption and abuse is that we need better perspective.

    Look at the way the government officials have attacked big oil, CEO's, AIG, private sector over the years.
    Obama has brought that to a whole new level calling out cities, capitalism and doing much of the same.
    Then you have all the cheerleaders beating up the private sector not even thinking about their government.
    Last year AIG employees had death threats.

    At the same time I am not sticking up for all of the corruption in the private sector but I am saying wait a minute.
    Look at Washington DC, the government has never been bigger, more inefficient or more corrupt than today.
    A reminder that I was against all the Bush stimulus and bailouts.
    I was also against his increase in government.
    He was a liberal when it came to government growth and spending.

    No private sector corruption or business will ever effect the American people more than their corrupt bloated federal or state governments.
