Tiga, I'm trying to guess waht the press guys will do...not that I agree with what I posted. But this is what I think they'll do (or at least similar). I guarantee even if we blow OSU out in the NCG, they will not place the Tigers any higher than 3rd. Just the way those Aholes are. They've never given us that much respect up to now. They'll base it on the amount of quality seniors we'll lose this year. why in the world would I think any different next year.
We started THIS season at #2, after losing 4 first rounders to the draft. What's the difference? If we come in and dominate tOSU, and some underclassmen shine...such as KW, CS, RP, BL, TH, TT, CJ, and DB...they would likely take into consideration that we have a lot coming back next year...impact players.
Just speculation and working under the weak mental assumption the the press as a whole outside La hates us. Quite frankly I was shocked to see them have us at number 2 this year.:grin:
There was a media fascination with our defense going into the season. Whether right or wrong, we dont have many people that stick out to the media, hence our lower ranking next year. You dont expect the media to do its homework, do you? :lol:
