    Well, the plane landed.

    Whatever happens happens.

I hope he stays and I hope the fan base gives the guy a break from time to time.

I firmly believe, however, that the Michigan fans are no better.

FWIW, it's the exact same plane from Friday. According to Hannigrif, that plane was transporting 'organs' on Friday. Gotta wonder though. I wonder what 'organ' is on the plane?

It's beginning to look like someone was dropped off Friday, and they're picking them back up.
    -
Also on droppings, there's a thread saying one of the pay sites claims Miles told them no, and is in negotiations with LSU right now for a restructuring.

    I hope so.

Also, if they dropped someone off and are picking them up....then they shouldn't be in BR for long.

    We'll see......

    Restructuring what ?
I dont know if we should give Miles more money.
I like him and hope he stays. But every time Michigan jobs comes open we give him more money seems dopey. either be an LSU Tiger or a Wolverine. We understand if you chose the latter. Its not big deal that is where your heart is/was. We get it, but pick once and for all and let EVERYONE move on.

Reminds me of the countless Saban to the NFL years (Well every year), where every year he interviewed got a big raise and stayed...

I hope Miles stays and if he does I hope that is the end of "Les to Michigan" mess.
If he leaves, I say thank you and good day...

"that plane was transporting 'organs' on Friday."

Huh that is a huge DOSE of Clarity isnt it ? If true. Brings me down to earth a bit.
Here we all are hitting refresh like idiots stressing over a football coach....
While we are tracking planes that are transporting organs from someone who just passed and was willing to try to save someone else's life...

i have mentioned it before, but at oklahoma state, negotiations at one point included better contracts for his assistants instead of more $$ for him.
restructuring doesnt always mean more money. and sometimes its making sure assistants plans are restructured too.

Well, we haven't given him a bump in a couple years if I'm correct. To renegotiate after his 4th 11-win season and a big cotton bowl victory isn't out of order IMHO.

I did a pretty long post about this last night, and really don't wanna go thru it again...especially with Tiga awake right now. But here's what I was talking about.

Q-Why doesn't he just say no if he's staying.
A-Because Alleva came out and said we'll do whatever it takes to keep Miles here at LSU...and Miles ain't stupid.

Not about "salary" money. About length of contract, performance bonuses, etc...AKA, reSTRUCTURING. Miles is 57. If he doesn't go to UM now, he probably wants to retire here. He may want an extension to his chosen retirement age. He may be working on details of bonuses for winning the SECW, SEC, BCS game, BCSCG game.

Bottom line, this is business, and he's a business man. Alleva said "whatever it takes", and Miles is gonna see what that means.

FWIW, I'm not so sure I believe that anymore. In fact, I have no idea WHAT I believe anymore regarding this crap. I just hope it's settled SOON!! It's ridiculous, and TERRIBLE timing.
