One says N5, the other N6. But that's not to say that the number isn't shopped. . .

FWIW I heard last night that the plane that was here was owned by some fat-cat in Colorado, and that the plane was mainly used for medical transport of donor organs. Supposedly, the plane was here for medical reasons. Though I have to admit, it's kind of ironic they picked yesterday to pass through.

that "propeller" plane is a turbo prob.

    not exactly a cessna.

its about 1/8 of the price of a lear-jet/citation/gulfstream, but still several MM.

if he's going anywhere, i'd rather hear it from him....i don't have time for all the "what-ifs" & "coincedences"..if he goes, he's only doing what every other college & pro coach has done before him! you have to make these moves when the time is right & as much as i HATE to see him go, i can't blame him for his life's decisions because none of us would turn down a good deal with more money or better opportunities for us or our family!

Well, Miles is 57. This would be his last opportunity to go to Michigan. He would leave a very good program that he has helped build and maintain. If he can't turn Michigan around in 3 years, he will be unemployed.

So, do you stay with success or risk it all on your alma mater? Tough choice for some, no brainer for others.

I think it's fair to say that the Michigan plane could be used for the same purposes. Even if that recruiting trip is for a head coach.

Well yeah, but who meets secretly with a head coaching candidate by flying into his local airport in a Michigan-painted Lear Jet? It ain't exactly covert. If they are that stupid, they are definitely not ready for prime time.
