    NCAA President.

    Long-term diagnosis is not good.

Patrick Swayze has the same type cancer.

Pancreatic has one of the lowest survival rates of all cancer.

    Not good for Mr. Brand.

It's definitely one of the deadliest if not the deadliest cancer there is. The reason is because there are no symptoms until the cancer is very far along. 5 year survival is less than 5 percent although there are some notable cases including Steve jobs who have survived (although who knows what the deal is with jobs right now, he is almost to 5 years from diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.)

I hate to hear this. I watched the owner of the company I work for die from Pancreatic cancer a few years ago and it wasn't pretty. My prayers go out to him and his family.

Yeah, pancreatic and gastric CA both have a poor prognosis and often progress rapidly. Very unfortunate diagnosis.
