Again .. Demps and Rainey are really poor comparators for LSU. LSU runs very little Demps and Rainey style plays.

Obviously, every team runs different plays, and every defense has a play to counter it in some way. I am speaking in terms of personnel, and when it comes to speed backs, they are the best.

I don't think anyone disputes that Bama's D is great against the run. I don't think anyone expects LSU to run all over Bama with a run game either.

OTOH .... while you seem to think that Bama will shut down the LSU run game .... we tend to disagree. Bama hasn't faced a power back scenario. Our run game is not a big play maker, hasn't been all year. They won't break any 25-60 yrd runs like T.R. I really think your expectation of LSU's offense is based on a perception that run games produce huge plays ... like the run games of Demps, Rainey, T.R., LMJ, Dyer, etc etc etc.

Simply put, our run game would never live up to the expectations that you seem to have. It is what it is, and we like it. It's effective. 4-6 yrds at a time. But it'll never "wow" someone like you, who's used to a Trent Richardson style of performance.

No doubt, Bama will rack up more rush yards than we will. But, I don't think it is going to make much of a difference.

With all these stats you like to post about the defense.....exactly what decent offense has bama faced this year???? Your stats are definately inflated due to the lack of talent bama has faced offensively. As for the comment of bama throwing more and effective;y on first down......LSU is the first defense bama will face this year that can handle bama's recievers man to man.....leaving more athlete's in the box for mr richardson!! Mr macharon can get ready to be on his behind most of the night!

Also I can promise you this.......bama WILL NOT hold LSY to 50 yards or fewer........I would be shocked if lsu has less than 120 yards rushing against bama.
