That's a great point. Maybe Bama surprises the world. Better than everybody telling you that you're gonna win the game easily like they will tell Florida.

If channeled appropriately, that really is a great spot to be in. You knocked off the defending national champs today (by a hair), and you will get a chance to do the same to the previous champs. The fact is that if Bama gets by both LSU and FU after what programs have done the last two years, then you guys will truly deserve it and be in the midst of a spectacular season.

I hate you guys, but good luck to you. :)

I think OU beats Tech in Norman.

We both have off an off week next week.

I do think it will be a some what of a shoot out. Tech is going to score points no doubt. I just think we will score a lot more.

This is Stoops 10th season. We are tough at home. We've only lost 2 games at home in his 10 years. It certainly won't be easy for tech.

About our defense, we've had a problem since the Texas game when they injured our MLB, Ryan Reynolds. He was basically the QB of our defense. Austin Box is now playing at the MLB spot. He played really well this week. He is getting better each week. Last week was his 1st outing at the position. They had tried Nick Harris the week before. If he continues to excel, we should be just fine on defense.

    Don't sleep on Tech's defense.

    You're showing absolutely no respect.

Not sure if you watched the Texas or Okie-State games by Tech.

They have really good D-line play and can give you trouble. They also run the ball well enough to keep you guys off balance, which is what I suspect they will try and do a little more than we saw tonight vs Okie State.

    It should be a dandy.

I would guess 41-38. Not sure who to pick but I am definitely leaning OU's way due to the home field.

What's bad for Bama is if they don't win the NC this year, they surely won't be winning it next year with a raw QB who has never seen the field.

Welcome to our world next season.

You're right here. It will be interesting to see which QB gets the nod next year. McElroy has been at Bama 2 years now learning. He followed Chase Daniel in HS to bring a championship to his team. Not saying that will bode well in college, but it's worth mentioning. Jackson has a good arm and has looked good in practice but has good wheels--something that will be new to us, but very exciting!

Andre Smith leaving is a bigger loss. :(

You are wrong. I am giving Tech respect. Their defense has greatly improved. They now have somewhat of a running game as well. Those are 2 important things that have hampered them in the past.

Tech is a very good team. I'm glad we are playing them at home. I wouldn't be as optimistic if we were playing them in Lubbock, but I would think we would have a chance at them.
