I knew USC would be brought up. They looked lackadaisical against both Arizona and again vs Cal tonight.
Don't worry about it. In case you don't already know, polls mean nothing right now, so long as you are either 1 or 2 for the last BCS poll, you'll get your shot. Your program has to be more concerned with getting there right now. I congratulated you guys on your victory against us in another thread, but I can see why our guy has FU ahead of you guys. Right now, I don't see how you guys get past FU in the SECCG, but anything can happen on the field. Good luck the rest of the way. You will need it. It's the only way in. It's true. I forgot about UGA.. [seems easy to do lately..] I just don't think Bama can hang with any of the listed top-5. Don't get me wrong I think Bama is a solid football team.. just horrendously overrated at #1.
Come on, dude. You are not national champs until you get in there and win that game. You need to take care not to get too far ahead of yourself. I know you are excited about the win. Your program has been down for a long time and you have a great coach. But championships are won one game at a time. You still have a tough road ahead of you. Not many people would take you guys over FU on a neutral field, so the way I see it, you guys are still the underdog, but we'll see. I am really looking forward to the SECCG even though we won't be in it this time.
Hard to tell, the polls have been fairly kind to us. I suspect about 19. Win the last 3 and win the bowl game and we're probably right at about #10 in the end. That would be a sweet ending to what is perceived as a fairly tumultuous year.
No doubt. It was just a saying, I'm not claiming us national champs. I am worried about Florida and yeah, we will be dogs...but I think we seem to like that. The whole nation will give them no shot. That's what we need!
