Russell Wilson has an excellent opportunity to jump to the front of the class against a good Nebraska team this weekend.
I think he will be this years media darling. Ill guess Wilson will win it, assuming Wisconsin finishes near the top.
Wisconsin and media darlings in the same sentence, probably not. Wilson actually deserves to be in it at least, so if the media jumps on his bandwagon, good for him. Hearing Landry Jones over and over again (the voice that comes to mind is that of Mushburger's). It makes me a little ill.
Interesting thing is to compare Luck's stats vs 3 cupcakes to Lee's stats against 1 cupcake and 3 ranked teams away from home. And no, I don't have delusions of Lee winning the Heisman or being a better QB than Luck. Just noticed the similarities. Had RR not dropped that sure TD, it would be even closer...
They should just get rid of the entire heisman award. It's tarnished and has absolutely nothing to do with the "best college football player". Just a big circle jerk.
