I also stated that our recent history alone would put us a lot higher. With out the last 8 years we are not top ten. Read one post and you do not get the full view.:milesmic: I spent about 10 minutes looking at this and got 8 out 10. How long and how much research do you think the warehouse put in. Look at the list. Where do I have LSU. And for all others. This is not the last decade list. Use the last 8-10 years and the list changes a great deal.
You guys are tops, but there are programs that aren't far behind. http://www.forbes.com/2007/11/20/no..._1120collegeball_slide_7.html?thisSpeed=15000
Maybe I just misunderstood. When you said "our history", I thought that also included the last 7 years.
That is exactly right. You should disagree with it. I said it to make a point to someone. I do not believe they belong either. Like I said you read one post and you miss understand the reason for the post. Keep up. :thumb:
Using your criteria should leave bama on the sideline. Or put ND in. ND's history is better than bama, even recently. This year being the exception.:yelwink2:
I was going to move LSU up to #3 with a win over OSU, and move OSU to #4. A strong finish in the recruiting class (top 6), I would put LSU ahead of OU as well. If OSU wins, I would put them at #2 and LSU would stay put. If LSU's recruiting class stays in the high teens (i.e., doesn't improve), I would flip flop LSU and Florida at the #4 and #5 positions.
With the criteria given I'm not sure a strong recruiting class in one year would constitute miving a team up IMO. Winning a MNC sure but getting some 4 or 5 star kids that are unproven on the field? Not a solid reason. Please note, I'm not trying to start an argument here, just debating a point a little as we still have 28 days or so to kill.
Ya but this list is all time wins, bowls, and championship. It dosnt factor in history, facilities, and revenue which are all important to the overall score of top programs.
