College football warehouse tends to disagree: http://www.cfbdatawarehouse.com/data/rankings/all_time_team_rankings.php
have you seen this team the last 5 years? They are nowhere near the top 10 right now. And they will fall even lower once Dumbo takes over. Sorry, but you're way off on this one.
They have LSU ten, just the same as I have. With some recent history along with old we are ten. Take away the last 8 years I am not sure LSU makes the top ten. I don't see where the warehouse disagrees.
What is your definition of tradition. If it is winning SC is not. Take away the winning and Gamecock fan could give you tradition. Because you do not know it about doesn't mean it is not there. The reason you know other schools traditions may be because of the history of winning. PS I have 8 of 10 schools they have in the top ten.
I would not put much weight in the "support" available to a school, especially when refering to the amount of money available/generated by the football program. There is no other school in the country that even come close to the financial status of the Notre Dame football program, yet they have not been able to translate that into consistant winning since the mid 90's. All "major" programs go through cycles. Some spend years at the top w/ short spans at the bottom. Some spend years at the bottom w/ short spurts at the top. If you pick and choose which period in time you look at, you can find just about any team you want in the top 5.
This is the statement I disagree with... "S: If support, good recuriting and tradition put you the top ten, then the South Coralina game cocks should #1." Number one?
