My rant over Lowe's pulling their ads from American Muslim.

That's what they were doing. Encouraging boycotts and "looking into legislative remedies."

But it's California, whatchu spect. American kids were sent home from school for wearing red, white, and blue on Cinquo De Mayo but someone's going to call me racist for saying that fellar looks like he just came off the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Knowing how much you despise the Saudis I implore you to NOT, NEVER, under any circumstance try to find out what would happen to the US if they (saudis) decided to take their money out of OUR stock market. You may spontaneously combust.

 

It is Americas best intrest to continue a friendly relationship with the Saudi government. No matter what some of the Saudi people say, the Saudi government is one of america's allies. The Saudi 's , I'm sure, contribute to keeping Iran in check through work with the CIA. It's in both nation's intrest to do so.

I don't despise the Saudis. It just seems to be a looked over fact that those that attacked us were from there.

And yes they have money. And no they wouldn't take it out for ****s and giggles.

But we LOVE Israel so much I guess we might as well bow down to their enemies because they have money...

 

An American company has the right to support whomever they want or to not support a product they don't wish to.
They shouldn't have to justify themselves to you, me or especially the government.

This isn't a communist country where the government controls everything everyone does, yet. No matter how bad democrats want it to be a single party government ran dictatorship , this is still a free country. I , or any business, has the right to choose who we support and where we spend our dollars.
Get out of our lives government.

 

Are we really that scared of all Muslims? Should we kick them all out of the country? So a handful of crazies attacked and killed Americans because they thought the Koran told them to. I know a handful of crazies who protest at military funerals because the Bible told them too. I know some other crazies who refuse to provide life-saving medical treatment to their children because they think the Bible tells them that praying will fix everything.

 

What you're saying has little to do with what is happening here.
An American company can chose where they decide to spend their advertising dollars. It isn't for anyone outside of that business to decide where those dollars are spent.

If you don't want to advertise on the playboy channel then don't do it. It's not for anyone to challenge that decision that a company has made.

Take for instance tampax. Why would they want to advertise on the outdoor channel on a program that shows duck hunting. They would be better served advertising on the lifetime channel. It's not the governments business or anyone outside of tampax to decide where the advertise.

If lowes doesn't want to advertise on American Muslim then it's nobodies damn business other than lowes. If you don't agree with it don't shop at lowes. Simple.
You know some arseclown will take this to court. I would be willing to bet this arseclown is a democrat.

 

They do/did have a choice. They chose not to. Seriously. They were scared about the Muslim's choice to boycott and caved. That's all. File your complaint with Lowe's for not nutting up.
