No, Okie State would still hold a .950 to .930 advantage if they win the other polls. So they would need only 37.5 % of the human voters to vote them #2 Coaches = 59 (they need 23) Harris = 115 (they need 44) Now if Okie State loses a 3rd computer poll, then it simply comes down to getting more 2nd place votes than Bama. That would be mighty tough to overcome.
Either way they work it out, there's going to be some controversy. I'm just glad my team is the undisputed #1 team!
Last night, I though OSU would get it by a hair. Now I am thinking maybe Bama gets it after all. Too bad as there will be a lot more pissed off people around the country than otherwise. Sagarin is the only computer that will be public before the announcement. Wolfe is speculation at this point and we are getting mixed info. All this shyt is going to go down during the Saints game tonight. FARK!
I put my full trust in the Harris poll voters to do the right thing. My fellow man never lets me down. Well, ugh!
Unfortunately we left it up to humans three years ago and we see where that got us. (NO hope, NO change)
lol good luck honestly, Idgaf if we play Bama or whoever, just win thats all that matters, we can and will definitely beat them again.
Who wins? Bama vs OSU? I'm wondering about this right now...what's your mindset? Are you thinking about the fact we missed three field goals? Are you thinking about the INT in the endzone? Are you thinking about the point that we could have—BUT DIDN'T—win that game by 14+?
What does how Bama played against LSU at home have to do with how well they would perform against OSU?
Are you thinking about the dropped TD? Or the one Shep had to come back for that would've been 6? We can play that all day Terry. We're talking about a game LSU played...and won. Good teams find a way to win. I'd love the chance at doing it again.
Are you thinking about the TD that should have been to Shepard? Or the pass play that followed into the endzone which was right off Randle's fingertips? Are you thinking about the 2 silly 5 yard penalties on LSU when they were moving inside your 30, that ended up resulting in punts instead of, at a minimum, 6 points? Are you thinking about a Jarrett Lee that won't be in the game to give your team 3 of the 6 points you got by throwing an interception? Lots of things to ponder. LSU should have won 16-3.
