I'm going to wait out the 4th quarter of this Oklahoma State game. Coming up within the hour. I'm going to initially post Oklahoma State's worst case scenario with only showing the points Bama has missing from a unanimous 2nd in the human polls (Bama not losing any more points but Okie State being ahead of them on those votes, i.e.). ................Computers...Coaches.....Harris.....Total Alabama ........ .920...... .9566....... .9586..... .9451 Oklahoma St... .960...... .9234....... .9214..... .9349 This is if all voters vote Alabama and Oklahoma State no lower than #3 and Alabama does not gain any of the points they were missing from being a unanimous #2 from last week. This does not account for any more voters voting Oklahoma State #2 other than the 5 voters in the coaches poll that had Bama #3 and the 4 voters in the Harris as well. One issue is the Harris poll. Oklahoma State was 98 points behind Stanford going into this week. That's almost a full spot in that poll. Will there be a handful of voters keeping Stanford #3 ahead of Oklahoma State? I sure hope not, they didn't even win their conference and got blown out by Oregon, one of only two tough games all year long (their schedule was laughable). Nearly 80 percent of Americans think Oklahoma State should play LSU. Which teams should play for the BCS national championship? - Sportsnation - ESPN My gut is still telling me Alabama stays at #2 when all is said and done.
I am reallly hoping you give me the news i want to hear, not only because i dont think bama deserves it but because i just bought 4 ticket reserves for okie state
Oklahoma State is more deserving than Alabama, given this demolition job that OSU has imposed upon Oklahoma.
Knowing h im, I think he is going to go with 1. LSU 2. OSU 3. Bama Computers favor OSU now. Just need 25% of voters moving OSU past Bama and none having OSU worse than 3rd. Not sure how anyone can have OSU worse than 3rd when Stanford not only did not play, but did not win their conference. VT went down big to Clemson. 3rd is a lock. It's a question of how many #2 humans they get.
