1. Florida 2. OU 3. Texas 4. Ohio State 5. Penn State 6. LSU 7. USC 8. Alabama 9. Virginia Tech 10. Oklahoma State This is factoring in injury reports and starting quarterbacks being named.
I think their young QB will have a really good season, which means their offense may be just as good as their defense for once. I do believe it is a crap shoot after the top 3, and LSU could easily be argued at the #4 spot. Everyone appears to have significant question marks/weaknesses.
Id say OSU and PSU are a bit overrated, but its an opinianted topic. 1 UF 2 Texas 3 Ou 4 USC 5 Bama 6 LSU 7 OSU 8 Ole Miss 9 Ok St 10 Va Tech
USC with a true freshman QB and new OC and DCs. That's a stretch at #4 from just about everybody that has a poll out.
sounds familiar....... actually kind of sounds like us preseason a year ago. almost anyway. redshirt freshman, and no new OC.
I agree it could certainly be a stretch. I just think they have the surrounding talent to at least start off there. I also think Barkley is the real deal. Honestly, outside of the top 3 its a crapshoot from 4-10. You can make a case for quite a few teams. Their history has a lot to do with their ranking at #4 in most polls. Just as for me the history of OSU and PSU losing big nonconference games makes me rank them a bit lower. OSU has all everything Pryor but he too has a long ways to go. PSU has Clark but lost all their WRs. One thing is for certain it will be a GREAT year of college football. The best sport in the world by a mile. With MMA in second for me.
