IMO, we're good, just not great this year.

We don't have a good solid QB. This was our 5th game and Lee is still throwing the ball behind receivers and sometimes all over the place.

Our D isn't very good. We made Auburn and Miss State's offenses look good, and Florida's looked ALL WORLD tonight. Too many blown coverages. Not enough pressure on the QB, and way too many missed tackles.

We're gonna lose another game or two before the season is over. It is what it is.

Lee's play will come with time.

I'm more worried about our crack don't cover/tackle defense we're playing. We played like crap on defense. Is it the coaching? There were blown assignments all night.

i would agree had Auburn not hung 21 points on us. Their offense is horrid and they laid it down on us. Call it coaching, call it scheming, call it personal or whatever you want but our defense doesn't have it so far this year.

As far as RJF, I really don't have a problem with what he said. That was ESPN/media bs trying to make a story out of something. It's not secret d linemen try to hurt quarterbacks, that's what they're coached to do.

Actually, they only hung 14 points on our defense.

And chins up, guys, Lee threw another pick six, so actually, Florida only scored 44 points on our defense.

Now, I think I'm going to go and throw up...

I knew I was gonna misstep there. I wasn't even totally sure it was 21 to be honest. Still Auburn should not score a point on even a decent defense. See Miss. State.

I agree completely, and that has been a concern in the back of my mind.

I like Les Miles, and I think he's a good coach, but it's not treason to say that he got out-coached tonight. I've yet to see a game this year where we start off prepared and ready to roll. Even last year, we were much better in the second half. Besides, the delay of games and time outs taken early, etc was just a sign of bad discipline and bad execution, and that reflects on the coaches.

It would've been different had we lost by a close margin, but this wasn't even competitive. We weren't ready, and we were definitely out-coached on the defensive side of the ball. The co-coordinators have to go/step down. We need an actual defensive guru, rather than just ST/position coaches heading up the D.

Didn't say we've never been outcoached. I just didn't think we were tonight. It was execution and lack of personal on offense and the simple fact that we aren't as strong as we thought on D. Put that up against a very strong Florida team and here we are. The argument on the defensive side of the ball is certainly a good one and one that may be completely true. The co d coordinator was scary to me at first and may be a big problem.

It's time to give Hatch another look. Passing ain't everything, but poise is. Lee kept throwing wild and throwing into coverage.

Our defense is still a good one, but it's time for Les to find himself a Defensive Coordinator. 51 Friggin" Points! I officially think the two-headed DC sucks. every year under Pellini we had games where we were scored on early, but adjustments were made at the half to nullify it. No adjustments were made at the half that I could see. We have talent on D, but they didn't know what they were doing tonight. That is a coaches job.

We all picked LSU for 10-2 last summer with Florida as one of the losses. We're right on track of expectations. It's an even-numbered year, LSU never gets trophies in even years. At least Les averages 11 wins, Nick never won more than 9 in an even year. We'll likely lose another one, but it won't be to Bama.

It's football. LSU played like cupcakes and deserved to be humiliated.

The defense was clueless. The offensive line just didn't get it done. The team wasn't ready for this game with a two-week practice. It's the coaches job to get this team ready.

Florida has weaknesses. Bama has weaknesses. LSU has weaknesses. Nobody gets out of the SEC undefeated in 2009.
