I actually had preseason rankings, so therefore the adjustments from that ranking after game 1 are shown as well 1. New Orleans - same 2. Baltimore - same 3. New England - up 2 4. Green Bay - same 5. Houston - up 7 6. New York Jets - same 7. Pittsburgh - up 6 8. Indianapolis - down 5 9. Minnesota - down 1 10. Tennessee - up 6 11. New York Giants - up 3 12. Cincinnati - down 6 13. Atlanta - down 2 14. San Diego - down 4 15. Miami - up 2 On the cusp: Dallas, Washington, Philadelphia, Jacksonville, Seattle Bottom Feeders: Cleveland, Buffalo, Oakland
I think Houston's a little high as well. That game was their Super Bowl; show me a little more before I put them top 5. 1. New Orleans 2. New England 3. Baltimore 4. Green Bay 5. Pittsburgh 6. Minnesota 7. Houston 8. Indianapolis 9. Tennessee 10. New York Jets 11. New York Giants 12. Miami 13. San Diego 14. Washington 15. Atlanta
Once Cushing returns in week 5, this should be a very solid defense for the Texans. I think Arian Foster is the real deal. If they strike a balance of run and pass, Schaub should have an ever more effective campaign in 2010. I think they are winning the division and will make noise in the playoffs.
