i'm liking that Vikings team to easily beat either Tampa Bay or Seattle in the 1st round of the playoffs, assuming they get in.

I hope they're turning the corner. A lot of the improvement yesterday was just in execution. The defense has been OK, but they have been hammered with injuries - especially in the secondary. Richard Smith, the d-coordinator, finally blitzed more which was a welcome change.

Mario Williams is slowly showing that he may have been the right pick after all. It's taking time, just as I predicted given his age and raw skills. Bush and Young are also making the analysis a bit easier. :hihi:

The offense has been a veritable medical ward, with injuries on the o-line, RB, and WR. Nevertheless, they're getting it done though inconsistently.

Before yesterday's game, they had SIXTEEN guys on the IR which leads the league. For a team with talent issues anyway, that's a crippling number. I really think they're two drafts away from being a legit playoff contender, which is not too shabby. At least the outlook is positive, unlike about half the teams in the league.

I think he was involved in 45 plays yesterday. He was everywhere.

Dem Texans are looking like they will be 7-7.

With a Browns collapse, could they sniff playoffs for the 1st time ever?

they'd have to win out and get help, but as LSU saw, it could happen.

Cleveland has to lose all 3, Houston has to win all 3, Titans have to lose 2 of 3.

Houston lost to Jville, Cleveland and Tennessee this season (the 3 teams ahead of them for the 2 wildcard spots).

They play Indy and Jville to end the season.

I will literally bet my life that the Texans do not make the playoffs.

Texan fans would be happy to finish 8-8.

If Andre Johnson hadn't gotten hurt, I think this team would be possibly finishing up 10-6.

    didn't i say they'd need help?

i'm sure a lot of people would have bet their lives that LSU was out of it after losing to Arky. :)
