yes, forgot about the big penalty, but that look oh his, with that big old bald head ,and far away look in his eyes , it has to stick in a QB'S mind alittle. I know what we need, an Alem bobbleHeads, lol lol

Yeah, his eyes scare me and I'm just watching on tv...and pulling for the actual team that he's on.

I'm sure he is one of our lightest lineman so people naturally assume he wouldn't fare well against 330 lb tackles on a running play directly at him. Perhaps he can gain a little more weight in the off-season without sacrificing speed and gain a starting spot.

This reminds me of the time that the Saints were playing the 49ers to a close game. It was 4th and 1 for the 49ers and they're thinking about going for it. A foaming Rickey Jackson screams at the 49er offense and coaching staff, begging them to do for it... Daring them to go for it...

    Awesome.

I'll admit to being concerned about him when I learned he had changed his name. Flashes of Chris Jackson changing his name to Mohammed Abdul-Rauf came to mind. It seems like when athletes make this kind of statement, it changes them. Glad to see that's not the case with Alem.

Yeah if you have ever seen him on campus, you'd recognize him right away. He's the dude with the freaky eyes, the tattoos, and the guy barking randomly in the quad...basically the guy you want to stay away from. Love to watch him play though. He brings it on every play which is refreshing to see.

He's a cool guy though if you ever get in the same room as him. Talked to him on 2 diff. occasions, once at a bar, and he was pretty laid back and friendly both times.

I like that he looks like such a madman on the field though. He is going to be studly in his final season.
