Still in Atlanta tonight and headed in the morning towards my N.C. mountans, but wanted to tell you some observations on this young man.

Bird and other guys were out on the field early 9 in shorts and cut offspalying around with the football, Alem comes out of the tunnel, full pads (close to 1 hour before game) , he wanders around talking to himself and gets all mad. Transformation begins, they come out and line up in the game ,he is looking across att the Offense and is talking to them (while they are in the huddle) he starts this crossing his hands at the wrist and telling the offense something, by now he is foaming at the mouth. He comes off the snap low and gets under the offensive player, once laying him on his back , looks down at him ,starts to reach out with his hand, and then turns and walks off. The young man transforms onopening kick off and I dont know when he comes back to earth , but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WATCHING HIM PLAY.
And to the Fighting Tigers From Baton Rouge, Thank You Guys, Seniors, hope god gives you all the breaks you need to move on in this world .
    GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TIGGGGGGGGGGGGERS

I like his enthusiasm. Saw it a lot in pregame this season. A little self control could be added but I like the attitude. More of the guys on D should watch him and learn.

He's not better than Pittman and Jackson, and he is not built to stop the run.

Maybe but he is by far the BEST pass rusher we have on this team!

He has been my fav player to watch all season!!!

I figured we just rotated Alem, Tyson Jackson, Tremaine Johnson, and Kirston Pittman so that we kept fresh legs at the DE spot. Doesn't matter who starts, as long as they are all in the rotation.

Ijust like his mad dog attitude when he hits the field, And I saw him sback his blocker back into the option lane a couple of tim es last night and screwed the play up big timt for GT.
He might not be a Dorsey , but Im telling you, when they were out practicing and goofing off before the game, they all walked by him, didnt see many talk to him. He just romped and stomped around until he got himself all pissed off . I LOVE IT. We started calling it him getting his Tigatude Right before the kickoff.
Also Lafell went down, right before they went back in before kickoff, ankle ,I think left, but looked ok at gametime.

I saw Alem bum rush some folks last night vs the run.

I don't totally buy that argument.

Alem should have seen much more playing time.

He was much better than those guys when he was in this year. Pittman was almost silent. Even when he wasn't making tackles, Alem was disrupting things.

Personally, I think he looks like an axe murderer...like he's not all there in the head. Most guys that change their names usually aren't... I love that he plays hard, but he needs to chill with all that other stuff. It is that kind of moronic stuff that got us that nice 15-yard killer of a penalty in the Arkansas game.
