It'd be Marion for Varajao and if the Cavs do it, they're dumb imo. Varajao is their glue guy. He can play 2-3 positions and most importantly, doesn't have any expectations on offense. If Marion got there, he'd want a certain # of touches a game, etc... That's not what Cleveland needs.
I will agree with this 100 %. Chemistry is critical and it appears Cleveland is finally putting it all together (see their sterling record). Don't fix what ain't broken.
I may have to retract this statement. Forgot how damn good a defender that Marion is. He played great D vs Kobe tonight (as good as you can considering). I think Cleveland would like another offensive option to Bron and someone who could D up on Pierce and Kobe come playoff time. Marion is so damn long defensively.
Cleveland won by 17 at Denver tonight. They're fine. Adding Marion either moves Bron to 2-guard (where he is out of place), or forces Marion to play PF, where the big guys like KG eat his lunch. Their lineup is much more balanced with Varajao.
Cleveland certainly looks poised to make a run. And to think they don't even have Gibson who is a great 3 point shooter.
