the Cavs are in the short group, good pal. Don't know if that space was intended or not, but they're not any worse than the Big 2. Mo Williams + a more seasoned LeBron + no PJ Brown to save Boston's ass this year = Boston maybe not winning that Game 7 this year. People forget just how close Cleveland came from beating Boston last year.
factoring in the mental aspect. ill take two teams that have dozens of players with rings. obviously i think highly of the cavs since i have them third. i thought mo would be the best offseason acquisition with artest...looks good so far. head to head any of them could win.
I think it probably determines the championship. The Cavs need it more than either team, and the Lakers need it more than the Celtics.
considering that the home team won some ridiculous amount of games in the playoffs last year, I'd say it's very important. I don't remember the numbers, but I do know Boston won all of the games at home for sure.
No, Boston lost to Detroit in game 2 of their series. But they did win the rest of their home games. I agree it's vitally important that Cleveland and Los Angeles try to end up with a better record than Boston.
Boston is in a pretty decent bargaining position since they can just say hey we'll keep Mike Lowell instead.
correct you are, sir. I thought they had swept the home games in all the series's that went to 7, but you're right.
