i was too. and to compare him to a 4 year old is an insult to 4 year olds. :hihi: maybe some like that. to me its no different that that ass bobby knight. and if i acted like that, id get my butt thrown out of the house. but it was hysterical to watch a grown man act so childish. theres a difference between fire and temper tantrum.
There is a difference between loving something and tolerating it. I certainly didn't love him doing it when he was in the purple and gold. I tolerated the behavior because winning came with it.
Oh I was laughing my ass off. But I wasn't thinking, "man what a crybaby, I'm glad our coach doesn't get PO'd like that." Like I said, he would calm me down when he got that angry. Miles used to do it too but I guess he has decided it's bad for his image. Problem is, I think he's lost some of his fire because of it. Not me, I loved it. And I know there are others on this board, whether they admit it or not, who loved it too.
This. It always made me uncomfortable when Saban acted like an @$$ when he was our coach. I did laugh watching him throw his hissy-fits on the sidelines on Saturday.
In the earlier game Spurrier was throwing visor/headsets as well. Not sure if these tantrums are to fire up the base or blow off steam but they are quite childish displays.
i thought it was funny because he threw his head set down, and started cussing, then realized jones was right in front of him looking at him, so he turned his back.. He is a chihuahua, all bark no bite.
