Seriously ? Come on guys get some perspective. LSU beat 3 top 5 teams. How can you NOT put them #2...... LSU lost because we had the worst QB in LSU history. I will let you guys argue Miles, i concur not his greatest night. But for 4 years we have been cursed with this QB, who I found out is also clueless (See he post game comments). But lets get some perspective. There isnt a team in college football with the resume of LSU (Including Bama) LSU did this inspite of having the single worst QB in college football. Sorry LSU is clearly the 2nd best team in the nation and could argue had one bad night at the wrong time, when Bama got lucky and had theirs at the right time. But dont take away from what this TEAM (not Jefferson) accomplished this year.
does it really matter where we end up in the final rankings? it's not #1 and that is what we set out to achieve. if it cannot be #1 it might as well be dead ass last...

Worst nightmare is right, especially living in Montgomery. I can hear it now. "LSU didn't really win in Nov." "Miles is an idiot whose luck has run out." Aparantely LSU is the only team in the country that can NOT score a TD against Bama............ everyone else on their schedule did.
Sadly, the stat is correct. Take one ho-hum QB. Put him into a big game. Run a predictable, weak offensive gameplan. Add sweat. Stir. Cook on high. Remove from oven & savor accomplishment!
