If Muschamp was an outstanding coach, do you really think that Saban would have allowed him to move on from the Dolphins? Is that what you think? Because if you think that Saban would let a truly outstanding young defensive mind leave Saban's staff to go back to college, then you are mistaken. People who know Saban know that Saban would never let that happen.
Interesting take. When you put it that way, you're right, it does raise some questions as to whether he's as good as advertised.... He's a "fiery" coach and appears to be a good motivator with his sideline antics--but that remains to be the only thing we truely know about Muschamp.
