On that same token, if we were really 2-3, we would be saying we should really be 5-0 because of those same plays. It just doesn't make sense to play the "we should be..." game
Have you watched any of the games this year?? We should've lost to UNC and UT. And if you don't see that, then you're dumber than Miles. My point being we are winning in spite of Miles. But now the real part of our schedule begins and dumb luck won't win many more of these games.
We could have lost to all five. We did not. Did you sing the little "Nyah, nyah" song? :dis: Grow up. Who says? Luck always has been a part of football. For a lot longer than Miles has been around. People have been expecting us to lose to Florida, Bama, and Arkansas all summer and it's got nothing to do with luck.
LSU had some bad luck in all of those games as well. If you really want to run a team down, it's not hard to cherry-pick a few plays and play this game. The question is: what's the point? Other than making everyone else as miserable as you are?
You could say that UNC was lucky to even have a chance to win. Ridley hasn't fumbled a ball since then. If we happened to recover it, game over. You could say that if Lee didn't have that INT in the endzone, we get a FG and the end of the game never happens because Jasper gets another as time expires.
They all call him Herbie on the air, at least since 2007 From football fans it was clearly term of derision. I always felt that Disney Co. picked up on that and intentionally started calling him Herbie as a positive spin marketing move. Maybe a touch on the conspiracy side by me, but I hate those manipulative clowns and fully believe they are capable of it.
